The Most Popular Toys In The Eighties

This is a nostalgic post for people born in the Eighties. I remember all these toys well.

Spinograph - Stencils: For some reason kids spent hours playing with stencils.

Rubik's Cube: This is the most popular puzzles to be ever made. It was made in the 70's, became popular in the 80's and is sold like hot cakes even today.
Pound Puppies

Pick Up Sticks: This was a game that required mental and both hand and eye co-ordination where one had to remove a stick from a pile of sticks without disturbing the pile.
Operation
My First Sony: Kids loved singing on this toy as if they were some super star like Madonna or Michael Jackson.

Lite Brite: We had to make creative images by inserting colorful pegs into the black sheet.

Koosh Ball
Gumby: This is certainly my favorite cartoon character of all times. I loved watching it when I was a kid. Most kids didn't even get what is Gumby - a green plastic or clay figure but he was definitely popular and his adventures through the books was so much fun in the eighties.
