Opel Releases More Info and Photos of 2011 Antara Facelift


We've already laid eyes on Opel's and sister company Vauxhall's rehashed Antara, but the automaker just came out with a fresh batch of photos as well as some additional information on the compact SUV, including performance and fuel economy stats for the revamped engine lineup.

The cosmetic changes are pretty much limited to the front fascia and rear lights on the outside and a revised center console plus new graphics for the instruments, and updated trim and upholstery, options inside.

For 2011, the Antara's engine line-up consists of two new 2.2-liter CDTI diesels with 163HP and 184HP, and a new 2.4-liter ECOTEC gasoline variant with 167HP.

2011 Toyota Matrix Freshens up for Chicago Auto Show


Toyota has chosen this week's Chicago Auto Show to stage the reveal of the 2011 model year Matrix. If you're having a hard time finding the styling differences between the 2010- and 2011-MY versions of the Matrix, that's because the revisions are barely noticeable.

On the outside, the subtle refresh is limited to all-new front and rear bumpers with integrated front and rear underbody spoilers and a large mesh front fog lamp bezel. The newly designed 16-inch steel wheels and 17-inch, five-spoke alloy rims plus the introduction of a new Spruce Mica color round off the changes.

Good news for Porsche owners in America who'd like to have their sports cars and SUV models tuned by Techart as the German company has finally opened a US headquarters in Irvine California. "The new subsidiary ensures a faster product supply to all its customers and sales partners," Techart said in a statement.

Ferrari Unleashes Fresh Batch of Photos of FF Four-Seat GT Playing Around in the Snow


Citing "outstanding interest" and "numerous requests", Ferrari has unleashed a handful of additional photos of its new flagship four-seat GT, the FF. This is the second time after the initial presentation of the supercar in late January that the Italian firm has published pictures of its first-ever all-wheel drive model, yet somehow we still haven't seen the car in its entire form. In this latest batch, we get to see a very lightly camouflaged black prototype and a final model in Ferrari's traditional red color, both fooling around in the snow.
